About Central Library
the library is being run in a well furnished and well facilitated area. The library is rich with study books.
Reference book, periodicals, journals & On-line Journals also. Library is automated by using SOUL SOFTWARE 2.0.
Functions
To disseminate information to general public, particularly college students, to inculcate interest in higher education among them, to collect, collate and disseminate information on arts, commerce & science faculties and to support academic activities of in house academics and outside sources for the development of learning material.

II) Role of Library Advisory Committee:
i) The committee has advisory.
ii) To advice for making rules & regulations of library.
iii) To support in improving the collection & services of library.

Closed access system is used in circulation section & resource centre are open to all.

i) Reading Section: 3208
ii) Resource Center: Stack Area (2080 sq.ft), Seating Space (1118 sq.ft), Internet Lab - 16 Computers (442 sq.ft)

iv) Circulation Section: 3480 sq.ft;
v) Processing & Acquisition Section : 225 sq.ft.
V) Seating capacity for reading : ( 310 Users )
for Students : 250; for Researchers & staff - 20; for others- 40 Users.

Use of Library Services :
i) Average of issue – return is 200 books per day.
ii) Average of Reference books are 600 books per month

Additionally, the program educational objectives of our department has been established as follows:
- User Award : “ Vivekanand Utkrushta Vachak Puruskaar” &“Vivekanand Granthmitra Puraskaar”.
- Internet surfing is free for all users.
- Membership of N-LIST, DELNET Consortium.
- E-books & E-journals are also available.
- Library had made the user’s satisfaction report by conducting survey .
- Library is fully automated by using software : SOUL2.0
- Suggestion box for the library is placed at Library Campus.
- Library developed bibliographic compilations on different subject & title of
books.
- Newspaper clipping service of book reviews and college news.
- Book-Bank facility available for students.
- Open access system is available for all users in resource centre.
- Remote Access for using e-Books and e-Journals.
