Research @Vivekanand College
College has well established innovation ecosystem through which research and innovation activities are facilitated. The College has constituted ‘College Research Council (CRC)’ and headed by senior professor. The committee decides research policy for the college by participative method of decision making. College has a separate IP cell which increase the awareness of IPR and also helps in filing patents or other forms of IPs. One Indian patent application has been filed by the institution which has been published in the official patent journal of Indian patent office. Faculties have developed various technologies having good commercial value. One technology has been commercialized. Faculties also provide advisory and general consultancy services for which they are incentivised as per the IP policy of the college. The College promotes the research activities of the individual faculty and incentivise them for participation in seminar and conferences. The College encourage departments and teachers to organizing conferences, workshops, seminars and also extends financial assistance. College promotes research proposal submission various funding agencies. College has received funding from UGC, DBT, BIRAC and DST.
