About Department

The Department of Mathematics was established in June, 1991 in Vivekanand Arts, Sardar Dalipsingh Commerce & Science College, Aurangabad. There are two permanent faculty members Shri khakre R.A., Shri Dawkar B.D. at U.G. and three faculty members at P.G. In academic year 2019-2020 total 190 students have taken admission for U.G. and P.G. level. We have made many efforts in making the subject more interesting. Various extracurricular activities are conducted by the Department. Special guidance for competitive examination is given by the faculty of the Department.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

• P.G. course is available in the Department since June 2007
• The Department gives a prize of Rs. 500 to the student who acquires highest marks in mathematics at B.Sc. level
• The Faculty of the Department published 04 books & 05 research papers in Journals
• The Faculty of the Department attended & presented a paper in 23 state / national/ international seminars/ workshop/ conferences
• 27 students of the Department have occupied various posts in different departments and organizations
