About Sanstha

           To take the stream of Knowledge to the rural area and to the deprived and Bahujan Society, Late Pandharinath Patil Dhakephalkar alias, ‘Respected Bhau’ founded this Organization in the year 1946.

          The inception of this organization was in a very backward area like Chauraha with the establishment of Maratha High school. Little by little the Ganga of knowledge started to flow through Aurangabad and Jalna. Today this organization Maratha Shikshan Sanstha has been named after Great hero Vivekananda as ‘Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha’. This little sapling has turned into a mammoth tree.

          Along with education, the noble, motive of the institution is to imbibe patriotism as well as scientific and technical attitude in the students so that they can withstand the challenges waiting in this 21 century.

          One can see the outcome of this noble motive in the form of our students venturing in various fields with success.

Expansion of the organization

          Geographically this organization has expanded into two districts. Aurangabad and jalna. This organization runs 1 senior college, 8 Junior colleges, 15 higher and Secondary schools, 1 primary school, three minimum skills based Courses, 6 Primary schools, 3 institutions which cater management and computer education and 1 college of education, calculating 38 educational centers as well as through senior college, the organization runs P.G. course, and for external Students two centers of Yashwantrao Chavan Open University and Indira Gandhi Open University.

Aspirations and Resolution

          The organization is heading with the aspirations of imparting knowledge to the bottom of the society, making them understand the importance of education, they should be able to run their traditional business with more efficacy , making students not only literate but also prudent citizens and imparting into them the virtue like liberty, equality, Fraternity etc. for achieving these aspiration capacious building, laboratory and libraries are being built and well qualified teachers and professors are being appointed.

          While doing all this, it is observed lest the main concerns or motives of the organization should have any hindrance.
