About Department

The Department of Economics was established in 1971. This Department was limited to the undergraduate level. Its post graduation was started in 1996. The Department always aims at imparting quality education to the unprivileged rural students. Nevertheless, it has been attracting even students from urban area.

As Economics is one of the highly demanded subjects, many students have been attracted to the subject.
