The department of commerce has established in the year 1971. Initially department was serving for bachelor degree and as the time passes department has taken the advantage to extent the teaching services by M.com in the year 2000. The department was cherished with prominent faculties Dr. Pahurkar B.B., dr. Borikar A. S.and Dr. Padre S. R. Periodically Dr. K.B. Laghane was joined the department in 1985and from 1987 Dr. R. S. Wanare was contributing his service afterjoining of Dr. Pahurkar, B.B. At department of commerce, Dr. BAMU Aurangabad. After the retirement of Dr. Padre S. R., Dr. S. A. Ghumare was joined the department in the year 2010 currently, the former head Dr. K. B. Laghane in Associated with Dagdojirao deshmukh Arts Commerce and Science college, Aurangabad as principal
All the Faculty members in the department are Research guide under the faculty of commerce and management of Dr. B.A.M.U. Aurangabad. All members haveAttended, Presented and actively participated in state, National& International Conference as Resource Person and various university actively as well. All faculty members are having duel masters in multidisciplinary streams and continuously contributing for enrichment of department.
