The Department of history is established in the year 1971. The Department imparts education in History at Degree and P.G. Level. The department had the legacy of pedants like Dr. Padalkar and Dr. Inder Kaur, Asso. Prof. Popatrao Jadhav who gave enrichment and fervour. Dr. Padalkar was a member of the board of studies and he wrote several books. Dr. Inder Kaur was not only a good teacher but also a good academician. She was daughter of late Sardar Dalipsingh who donated a piece of land for college. So she strived hard for the development of the History Department and college.
