Since English is one of the most important subjects, the Department of English always endeavors to offer a variety of things to the students. The Department has the state of the art language laboratory which is available for all the students for the improvement of their lingustic skills. The students who join the Certificate Course in Spoken English and Personality Development can get access to this laboratory. It consists of a number of activities which certainly help the students to improve their Soft skills.
Apart from this facility, the Department has its own library having not only the books about the Syllabus but it also has hundreds of books from Marathi literature and a few from Hindi. This library is the major strength of the Department as it has made available important classics both from Marathi and English.
Reader's Club is an important activity of the Department which is a student platform helping them to select and read important books across Marathi, Hindi and English.
The Department has a highly qualified staff having qualified SET/NET and there are four teachers having completed their doctoral research. Two teachers of the Department are the research guides of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. The students are appealed to avail the benefit of the facilities and the activities offered by the Department.
